For the theme of 'temporary
architecture' I choose Tramline 22 in Ghent, Belgium to create an
act, installation, statement or performance. The reason is quite
obvious. Everything except the tram itself is temporary.
Population, environment, light, topography, panorama, ... are
changing all the time.
For this project I started with
location research and a mapping.
The research results were gathered
together in an statement. For the endresult of this artproject I
covered whole tram with mirror foil. The tram drove around in the
city for 10 days. The tram reached the front pages of most Belgian
newspapers and it was featured in the television news.
